Ferguson for Congress is committed to ensuring that everyone in District 10 is able to vote on election day. If you have questions about how to vote in your county, or any issues with your voter registration, please feel free to contact us via our contact form, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
How to Vote in District 10:
If you are an active, registered voter:
The state of Georgia will automatically mail you an application for an absentee ballot. The application must be completed with your personal information, the party you are voting in (Republican or Democrat), and your signature. The request must then be returned to your county board of elections office. Every county allows these forms to be returned by mail or email. Addresses will be listed on every request form.
Once your county receives your request form, they will mail the ballot to you within three days. You must fill out the ballot, put it into the white envelope, put the white envelope into the yellow envelope, sign, and add two stamps. The ballot must arrive at your county board of elections office before polls close at 7:00 pm on June 9, 2020. You may mail your ballot or bring it to the board of elections office in person.
You will only receive an application for an absentee ballot if you are an active voter. Thousands of voters have been purged from the voter rolls in Georgia. You may need to update your voter status by going to https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do. We highly recommend you check this site regularly (once a month) to ensure that you are an active, registered voter.
If you are not registered to vote:
REGISTER! You can register here at https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do until May 11th for the June 9th primary election. Once you are registered to vote, you will be mailed your application for your absentee ballot. See above for the steps to vote in the June 9th primary once you are registered to vote.
